The Divine Music – Akbar Birbal Story for Reading:-Once upon a time, there was a great musician and singer named Tansen, who performed in the royal court of Emperor Akbar.
One day, Akbar and his wise advisor Birbal were sitting with Tansen and listening to him sing.
Akbar was so impressed by Tansen’s music that he proclaimed him the best singer in the world.
But Birbal disagreed and said that Tansen’s teacher, Haridoss, was even more talented than him.
Akbar was curious and asked to hear Haridoss’s songs. So, the three of them went to Haridoss’s place and requested him to sing a song for them.
But Haridoss refused, saying that he only sang for God and not for anyone else. This made Akbar feel sad, and they left Haridoss’s place disappointed.
Tansen and Birbal felt embarrassed, but Birbal suddenly had an idea.
He asked Tansen to sing a song but with the wrong music. If Haridoss was a good teacher, he would correct the music and sing along with Tansen.
So, Tansen started to sing a song with incorrect music. Haridoss, who was nearby, heard Tansen’s song and got angry at the wrong music. He corrected the music and started to sing along with Tansen.
Akbar was amazed by the beautiful song and was delighted to hear Haridoss sing. He returned to his house and listened to the entire song. Akbar thanked Birbal for his idea and his problem-solving skills.
From that day on, everyone in the kingdom knew that Birbal was not only wise but also very clever. And Tansen learned that even the greatest teachers can learn from their students.
