Akbars INN- Akbar Birbal Story:-Once upon a time, Birbal had to travel through the jungle on government business. As night fell, he decided to look for a place to stay and spotted what appeared to be an inn.
Despite the absence of guards or servants, Birbal found food and a room ready for him to rest. Assuming it to be an inn under Akbar’s authority, Birbal had a good meal and went to sleep.
However, it was actually the resting palace of the neighboring country’s prince, who arrived later to find that someone had eaten his food and was sleeping in his room. The prince woke Birbal up in anger and accused him of being arrogant and sleeping on his bed after eating his food.
Birbal quickly realized his mistake and responded wisely. He acknowledged that it was the prince’s palace of rest, but argued that it was not wrong to call it an inn.
The prince challenged him on this, asking on what basis he called it an inn. Birbal patiently explained that the palace had been used by the prince’s father and grandfather before him, and therefore could be seen as an inn for travelers.
The prince remained silent after hearing the truth, and Birbal continued to defend his point by saying that all of Akbar’s inns were like this, providing high-quality food and comfortable rooms for travelers. He then apologized to the prince for his mistake.
Impressed by Birbal’s response, the prince realized that he must be a very important person and asked him who he was. Birbal introduced himself as an advisor in Akbar’s court, and the prince showed his respect by bowing to him and expressing his delight at meeting such a world-renowned figure.
