The Unlucky Servant – Akbar Birbal Story :-Once upon a time, there was a great king named Akbar who lived in a grand palace. One day, as he woke up from his sleep, he saw a servant standing before him. Akbar had a bad feeling about the servant’s face and thought it was a bad omen.
As the day went on, everything seemed to go wrong for Akbar. His meetings were canceled, his food was not to his liking, and he even hurt his foot by accidentally bumping into a chair. Akbar was convinced that all these mishaps were caused by the servant’s presence.
In a fit of anger, Akbar ordered the servant to be hanged, thinking that he was responsible for all the misfortunes of the day. However, Birbal, the king’s wise advisor, started to laugh. Akbar was puzzled and asked Birbal why he was laughing.
Birbal pointed out that if Akbar believed the servant’s face was a bad omen, then he should also believe that the servant had a bad day because he saw Akbar’s face in the morning. Birbal reminded Akbar that if he hanged the servant for his face misfortune, then people would also talk about Akbar’s face misfortune.
Akbar realized his mistake and understood that it was not the servant’s fault that his day was going badly. He apologized to the servant and decided to make amends by doing something nice for him.
From that day on, Akbar learned not to judge people based on their appearance and not to blame others for his misfortunes. He also learned the importance of taking responsibility for his own actions and being kind to others.
